Kingston Oak Soap Company makes beef tallow bar soap, Field Issue deodorant, laundry soap, and lip balm for people who work. Not just people who work with their hands. Mechanics, nurses, farmers, teachers, plant workers, office workers, parents. If your day takes something out of you, we make what you reach for when it's done.
Built in Southern Ohio
Joe Barker started Kingston Oak in 2025 in a garage shop he built out himself in Kingston, Ohio, a small village in Appalachian Ohio. Everything is still made there. We pour it, cure it, box it, and ship it from the same shop.
Independently owned
Kingston Oak has no parent company and no outside investors. A lot of the brands you see on store shelves started small and got bought up. We're not one of them. When you buy from us, you're buying from the people who made it.
Why beef tallow
Every bar starts with beef tallow. It has been used in soap for generations because it makes a hard bar with a dependable lather that lasts. We use it because it works. Read why we use beef tallow
What we make
- Bar soap: full-size 5.5 oz cured bars in scents from clean and fresh to warm and woodsy.
- Field Issue deodorant: aluminum-free and built for odor control.
- Laundry soap: a concentrated powder, about 40 to 50 loads per pouch.
- Field Issue lip balm: a jumbo 0.5 oz tube on a tallow and beeswax base.

We ship anywhere in the U.S. from Kingston, Ohio. Orders of $50 or more ship free.
